A different version of the traditional Indian sweet-Modak popularly used as an offering for the Elephant God-Ganesha.Made with oats and traditional ingredients like jaggery,coconut,ghee and dry fruits.

Ingredients
1.5CupsRolled Oatspowdered
1/4CupDry fruit mix ( walnut, cashew, almond) powdered
1CupJaggery powder
1/4CupGhee
1/4tspCardamom powder
2-3TbspMilkwarm
Instructions
Take ghee in a non-stick pan . Roast the Oats powder for 4-5 mins until light brown.
Add the dry fruit powder, dessicated coconut one by one and keep stirring for 1-2 mins.
Add the jaggery powder and mix very well stirring on slow flame continuously.
Add the cardamom powder for flavour.
Switch off the gas and let this mixture cool down.
Add little milk so as to form a soft dough.
Make modaks in the mould and remove them carefully.
Store them at room temperature for 1-2 days,refreigerate them after that.
