Hibiscus Lemon Mocktail
The Hibiscus Lemon mocktail is a non-alcoholic, refreshing and simple to make party drink .It is refreshing, light and perfect to feature on your party menu.
Servings: 4 glasses
Ingredients
- 3 bags hibiscus tea OR
- 1 Tbsp loose hibiscus tea
- 3 cups water
- 4 Tbsp lime juice
- 4 no lime rounds for garnish
- 300 ml club soda
- ice for serving
- For the Honey syrup
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp water
Instructions
- To prepare the Hibiscus tea, heat the water to a low simmer, in a saucepan. Steep the tea in the hot water for 3 minutes, then remove the bags (or strain off the loose tea). Set the tea aside to cool to room temperature.
- Make a honey syrup by combining equal parts of honey and water in a small pan. Warm it for a few seconds on the gas just until you can completely stir the honey into the water. Set aside to cool.
- To serve, fill four medium glasses with ice. Fill each halfway with hibiscus tea. Top each with about a tablespoon of lime juice and 1 teaspoon of the honey simple syrup, and stir to combine. Fill the rest of each glass with club soda, gently stirring afterward to combine.
- Garnish each glass with lime slices.
- Adjust the taste if required by using less lime juice or more simple syrup. Serve promptly.
