Aam Panna
Refreshing Aam Panna - a great cooler to beat the heat, but also packed with so many benefits! Aam Panna, which we all know is made from raw Mango, is packed with Vitamin C, Vitamin A & Potassium - it helps detox, helps build liver health and helps rehydrate!
Ingredients
- Tbsp Raw Mango Pressure cook in water with skin
- 2 cups Water
- 3 Tbsp Mint Leaves
- 1/4 cups Jaggery / Raw Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 3/4 tsp Pink salt
For Serving
- Ice Cubes
- Cold Water
Instructions
- In a pressure cooker take 1 raw mango with skin and pour 2 cup water.
- Pressure cook for 5 whistles or until mango is cooked well.
- Cool completely, and peel the skin of mango.
- Scrape the pulp of mango making sure the skin has separated.
- Blend the pulp with sugar/jaggery powder, mint leaves, cumin, cardamom powder, pepper powder and pink salt to make a smooth pulp.
- Do not add any water - aam panna concentrate is ready.
- To serve, take 1-2 tbsp of aam panna concentrate in a glass and add few ice cubes.
- Pour in ice-cold water and mix well.-Garnish with fresh mint leaves and Enjoy!
