Barley Water

Barley Water helps cool down, boost good bacteria in gut and flush out toxins.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Barley Grains
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Pink Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seed powder
  • 5 Cups Water

Instructions

  • Wash barley grains nicely 3-4 times in running water.
  • In a pot add water and boil, add the grains to the boiling water.
  • Let it boil for atleast 30 mins.
  • Then, allow it to cool, add lemon juice, pink salt, cumin seed powder & serve.
  • Drink barley water and the boiled barley grains can be added in salads or soups.
