Barley Water
Barley Water helps cool down, boost good bacteria in gut and flush out toxins.
Servings: 6 people
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Barley Grains
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Pink Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Cumin Seed powder
- 5 Cups Water
Instructions
- Wash barley grains nicely 3-4 times in running water.
- In a pot add water and boil, add the grains to the boiling water.
- Let it boil for atleast 30 mins.
- Then, allow it to cool, add lemon juice, pink salt, cumin seed powder & serve.
- Drink barley water and the boiled barley grains can be added in salads or soups.
