Flax Cumin Chutney
Flaxseeds provide healthy omega 3 fats and other bone-friendly minerals, whereas Cumin seeds provide many micronutrients and vitamins.A perfect combination of flax and cumin in this recipe adds health, taste, and variety to your meal.
Ingredients
- 75 gms Flax Seeds
- 3 tsp Cumin seeds
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 2 tsp Red chilli powder
- to taste, Salt
Instructions
- Heat a pan on medium heat. Add the flaxseeds and dry roast stirring continuously.
- Set aside to cool completely.
- Roast the cumin seeds lightly and cool.
- Blend the roasted, cooled flax and cumin seeds into a powder.
- Add the garlic, chilli powder, and salt and blend again.
- Serve as an accompaniment with the main meal to add taste and improve the nutrient quotient.
