The first apprehension for a rice lover, who intends to lose weight, is the omission of this ancient yet blacklisted staple. Rice is usually believed to cause belly fat, owing to its high carbohydrate content. However there’s good news, it is common knowledge that all cereals provide carbohydrates, and hence accusing rice of causing weight gain is baseless.
