Butterfly pea Mojito recipe
This exotic yet simple version of Mojito is a great addition to your party menu.It is refreshing and soothing with the benefits of the butterfly pea flowers.The Butterfly pea flowers are loaded with antioxidants , helps to boost mood, memory and improves hair and skin health.
Ingredients
- 4 Cups Water warm
- 4 Tbsp Honey
- 2 Tbsp Butterfly pea flowers dried
- 1/4 Cup lemon juice
- 1 Cup Mint leaves fresh
- 4 Cup Ice crushed
- 4 Cup soda water any color
Instructions
- Make butterfly pea tea by adding dried butterfly pea flowers to hot water .
- Allow to steep for few minutes and let it cool.
- Once the color is vivid enough, strain and discard the flowers.
- Make ice cubes of the butterfly pea tea.
- In a glass add plain water ice cubes , then mint leaves , then honey and stir well.
- Add the butterfly pea tea ice cubes and add lime juice.
- See the colour change from the blue ice cubes to a beautiful purple.Add the soda .
- Garnish with mint leaves. Serve and Enjoy this simple yet colourful drink!!.
