The attractive hard-shelled fruit with bright red, little edible seeds is not only packed with vitamins and minerals but is delicious too. Pomegranate is native to Iran. It is primarily cultivated in Mediterranean countries, parts of the United States, Afghanistan, Russia, India, China, and Japan.
